I keep reading this Torch post from the FP as a story about Toyota giving a truck to a nurse who cooked his victims. This may reflect some sort of problem in my brain. Also, car manufacturers should never give free vehicles to serial killers. It is really bad optics. Just one man’s opinion.

See, I’m just imagining a giant barbecue event with a Toyota in a fire pit, being prepared for people to eat. The new 2019
Toyota Luau.

So you won’t be trying the sous-vide long pig, then.

I like the dark twist you got going on. I also like that articles about fire are written by Torch. I mean... it’s only appropriate.

I just keep reading that Toyota is surprised he would risk his truck to save peoples lives.

Nah, for braised manflesh you need a Shiraz.

But this is roasted.
Also, stop hanging out with Nibby.

I don’t think I’ve actually cooked fava beans (my girls don’t like legumes very much) , but now I have an urge to go get some.

Blanching/marinating with a garlic brine before roast doesn’t produce something as dry as a normal roast other than the intended crust, so braising is still a better taste set match; particularly since the flavor will be more intense.
Also, no.

Agreed, but those people couldn’t really be said to have been braised , unless you could say they were brined and simmered in pools of their own sweat while enclosed in the pickup. So, I guess.
